Every now and then I am sent information that would be of service to our members…….below is one of those emails.
Hi 1st Cavalry Division Association!
My name is Rachel and I volunteer at a youth center with a Winter health class where we are currently discussing the risks of drugs and alcohol. The kids have been tasked with an assignment to find resources online that are related to the topic. The kids came across your web page https://1cda.org/history/artillery-links/ while looking for information. We want to say thank you!
Two of the girls, Amelia and Katherine, did some web searches at home together and found this page that they brought it for me to see about alcoholism –
https://www.dwiminneapolislawyer.com/alcoholism-resources/
I suggested that they share this with you because it has very helpful information for people seeking help it includes information to educate people about the dangers of drinking. Additionally, I want to impress upon them that by reaching out and simply asking others, things can be accomplished that the girls might not otherwise think can.
Would you please add a link to the web page they found to your web page? They would be so proud to see that you did, even if it’s only for a little while, and we also think that your other visitors will find it useful. I also don’t think it hurt that I promised the kids a extra credit if you added it! Please let me know if you’d be willing!
Thank you in advance!
Rachel
