Can anyone tell me where I can find a story or photo of Davis Hill in Vietnam. I was there back in 1968 and I can’t find a thing about it anywhere. COL Dingeman is the only other one I’ve heard even mention it in a letter that he gave to the guys under his command. I was 19 years old at the time now I’m pushing 70 years old. I was trying to tell my grandson as much as I could about some places that we had been so that is how all this came to be. Now I am afraid I am running out of time….Thank you for your help. From “Where We Were in Vietnam” by Michael P. Kelley, page 5-40.

    “Barbara, FSB (YD 253-290)
A.K.A. Davis Hill and FSB Davis. Apx 28 km W Camp Evans and 50 km W to WNW Hue. ”

During summer and fall of 1968 it was referred to as Barbara (FSB) and was part of the 1st Cavalry Division Firebases around Base Area 101. I have the converted Latitude and Longitude as:
    16˚, 34′ 34.77″ N
    107˚, 10′ 41.44″ E
